September Box Details

“We had an exclusive chat with the founder of Emanate Essentials, Sha Hannah-Santo on how she started her brand from scratch, building it into one that eventually became well-known for clean, personalized formulations! Read it at: nourishbeautybox.com/blogs/article”

What a lovely highlighted company that I’d never heard of before! If you check out the interview article you’ll find that aromatherapy is an extra special part of their skincare products. It’s definitely apparent with this month’s included product. Check out my review on it below!

Here’s a look at what was in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box ($76.50 Total Value):

Nourish Naturals Tinted Lip Serum In “Happiness” ($16)

“Enriched with a potent blend of jojoba, sunflower & safflower oils as well as hydrating shea butter. This antioxidant-rich infusion coats your lips in wearable tints of berry, nude and pink flesh.”

I was wondering if my collection of these lip serums would continue to grow. They had been a monthly staple for the first half of the year, but hadn’t come in the last few boxes. I like these lip serums just fine, but I definitely already have a big collection and I think I have one that’s similar to this color. So, overall not my favorite item included, but still a nice product!

Emanate Essentials Cami Rose Exfoliating Grains ($18.50)

“A gentle way to slough away dead skin cells with a formulation made of ultra-fine exfoliators such as organic oat powder and brown rice and a coconut-derived surfactant.”

Now this item I can get excited about! I think dry cleansing grains are so unique and useful. I love that the lack of water extends their shelf life and allows them to be packaged plastic free easily. I also like how they are a double duty cleanser and exfoliator in one. This one smells SO amazing, like a big hit of chamomile (so grounding) with a touch of rose. The texture is such a fine grain that it would be great for a super gentle exfoliation for any skin type. I can’t wait to try these out!

La Bloom Beauty Nail Oil Pen ($16)

“Made for stronger and whiter nails. The mess-free pen applicator is perfect to keep in your purse to use throughout the day and just before bedtime.”

This is such a convenient way to apply nail oil. You just click the product up into the brush and swipe on nails and nail beds. It’s made with simple, organic ingredients and smells bright and citrusy (lemon and sweet orange essential oils). This would be great for keeping on the nightstand for application right before bed giving your nails a nourishing overnight treatment. My nails are decently strong, but could use some whitening so I look forward to trying this out.

Lēnus No. 94 Fine Wrinkle Oil Serum ($26)

“A nourishing blend of cold pressed exotic oils, formulated to even out fine wrinkles, nourish the skin with antioxidants, vitamins and essential amino acids.”

I’ve liked all Lēnus products I’ve received before (some from this box!) so I’m sure this one is great too. I’m definitely at the age where future wrinkles are on my mind, but wrinkle-specific skincare isn’t something I currently use. I do, however, make nourishing skincare a priority and since that’s what this says it is, I think it could still be beneficial, and maybe rather a preventative care. It’s made with wonderful organic ingredients and smells so lovely. I feel like it kind of smells the same as other of their products, maybe a signature scent? Regardless, it’s light and so nice.

Nourish Beauty Box Review September 2020 – Final Thoughts

This is another great curation from Nourish Beauty Box. I really like how they highlight a specific new brand each month and provide more information to learn about them. This month’s highlighted product is the cleansing grains and I’m definitely most excited to try those out. The other products are great, and help make a rounded selection from different categories too, but that aroma from the cleansing grains hooked me into wanting to try it out first!
