SinglesSwag Review May 2020

SinglesSwag is a fun, stylish monthly surprise for amazing single women! They do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. They believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not her relationship status. They love to make women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them. They kindly sent us this box for review.

SinglesSwag is one of the more popular lifestyle subscription boxes on the market. They have been in business for a few years now and have definitely made a name for themselves. The price point is reasonable and they work with quality brands. They have 2 subscription options to choose from and the value always exceeds the cost of the box. It is a subscription we feel very confident recommending.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the May SinglesSwag box….

Feel Free Herb Infusion Mild Cleansing Foam ($30)

This oxygenating cleanser with ginger extract has a creamy and soapy texture designed to remove the most tenacious impurities and balance skin. Gently massage the product into your face, then rinse with water and dry without rubbing.

This is a brand we haven’t received before, as far as I can remember. It’s a cruelty-free, vegan brand that focuses on natural ingredients. I prefer an oil cleanser to a foam cleanser so I’m not sure I will try this one out but it does have some lovely ingredients – Lemon, Apple, Altea and Licorice.

Blue Revival Got Me Twisted Denim Top Knot Headband ($24)

This stylish, trendy 100% cotton, one-size fits all is great for at-home or on-the-go wear.

This is by far my favorite item in the box. I have been wanting a headband like this. I love the way they look – so fun and trendy. I had a peek on the Blue Revival website because I was hoping to find this band in other colors but it appears as though this was the only style they offered.

Dr. Botanicals Sleeping Mask ($13)

This truly all-natural, vegan-friendly sleeping mask, high in antioxidants to nourish and cleanse, is a perfect hydrating overnight treatment for thirsty dull skin.

As much as I love the sound of this product (I am yet to try it), I would have loved to see something different. We have received this sleeping mask in a number of different subscription boxes over the last few months.

So Susan Lumiere Liquid Highlighter ($22)

This skin-softening, water-based illuminator containing Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate and promote skin elasticity will provide a silky, subtle glow designed to last throughout the day. Hypoallergenic and gluten, cruelty and paraben free.

I don’t typically wear highlighter but I do like that this one claims to help hydrate and promote skin elasticity. I’m also happy to see a product from So Susan as it is a brand that receives great reviews.

Hannah Sienna Infused Bath Salts ($20)

Transform your regular bath into a therapeutic oasis with these natural, calming bath salts infused with real papaya oil designed to smooth, detoxify and moisturize your skin.

Bath salts are a great pampering product to have on hand and they also make a great gift. I like to have a box of giftable goodies on hand at all times. You never know when you are going to need to put together a gift bag.

The Gratitude Diaries by Janice Kaplan ($18)

In this New York Times bestseller, Janice Kaplan spends a year living gratefully and transforms her health, work and family life. Through warmth, humour and appealing insight, Kaplan empowers readers to think positively and improve many aspects of their life and start living their own best year.

I am absolutely thrilled to see a book in the box this month and this just might be one of my favorite selections to date (also really loved Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It from the February box). This one is about how looking on the bright side can transform your life. We follow the author for a year and she focuses on something different each season.

  • Part 1 Winter: Marriage, Love, and Family
  • Part 2 Spring: Money, Career, and the Stuff We Own
  • Part 3 Summer: Gratitude and Health
  • Part 4 Autumn: Coping, Caring, and Connecting

I think it sounds like such a good read!

Indigo Authority Necklace & Earring Set ($72)

The crescent horn is thought to present inner strength and fierce protection. This versatile long necklace and earring set is perfect for dressing up or down, day or night. Lobster clasp necklace 20″ chain with 4″ extender.

Even though the crescent horn pendant on this necklace is a little on the big side, I do really love the meaning behind it. I also love that we received a jewelry set – necklace and earrings.

Mr. Cake Cinnamon Crumb Cakes ($3)

Indulge in these delectable mini cinnamon-flavoured cakes. Eat out of the package or following heating instructions to warm up.

Our snack for May isn’t necisarily something I would crave but the hubby will love it. I like the idea of warming it up…..maybe serve it with some ice-cream?

SinglesSwag Review May 2020 – Final Thoughts

This month’s SingleSwag was a bit of a miss for me, but that is strictly a personal preference. My favorite items are the book and the headband…..absolutely loving both of those. The other items aren’t as exciting for me personally but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I love this subscription. We always receive amazing value, they work with well-known brands and I love the mixture of products. So far this year my favorite box is still the February SingleSwag. Check it out – HERE.
