December Box Details

“The December Beauty Box theme is: Give the Gift of Radiant Skin. This holiday season, we want you to have the gift of radiant skin. Nourish and care for your skin with luxury beauty products that help bring out your inner radiance. You’ll find a gentle facial cleanser from Korean Beauty brand The Vegan Glow, along with a luscious Morrocan Rose facial oil from Dr Botanicals that pairs perfectly with a special Vegancuts designed Obsidian stone massaging roller. This plus 2 more items and a surprise gift to thank you for being our subscriber – all worth over $100. From all of us at Vegancuts, wishing you warmth and joy this December!”

Here’s a look at what’s in the December Vegancuts Beauty Box:

The Vegan Glow Mild Foam Cleanser

I’ve never heard of this brand before but it looks like it has good reviews and looks interesting. This cleanser claims to be “Possibly the most efficient, safest and mildest foam cleanser ever made. A true simplistic formulation with natural key ingredients, no fragrance and pH level 5.5.” I only ever use gentle cleansers so I might try this one out.

Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil

I like the idea of this product as any facial oils I use I prefer to be lightweight and simple, however I’m not looking to try a new facial oil right now so I don’t know if I’ll test this one out. It’s such a pretty pink color and smells nice too though.

PlantFusion Collagen Beauty Drink Mix

This is a fun way to get some beauty boosters from the inside out. I generally drink collagen everyday so I’ll be curious to try this out. It says it’s lemon flavored so it will be a nice change of pace from the unflavored that I usually have. It’s really easy to make as you just add the pouch to chilled water and shake. It’s perfect for on-the-go.

VivaioDays Rose Geranium Cleansing Water

This is a no-rise cleanser that is meant to replace the face wiping products to reduce waste. You just apply to a cloth and swipe over skin for a refreshing cleanse. I am pretty particular about my face cleanser so I don’t know if I’ll find a use for this one. I do like the concept though and does smell nice and refreshing – like a clean floral. It would also make a great pairing with the other rose inspired item above – the facial oil.

Vegancuts Designed Obsidian Stone Massaging Roller

I love this item! I have another facial roller, but not one made of obsidian so this is great. Facial rollers are so soothing to the skin and are a gentle way to ease inflammation so it’s nice to use after washing your face and applying products. Obsidian is a protective stone that blocks negativity so that makes it great for incorporating into a mindful self-love skincare routine.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Eyeshadow in Flax Seed

This is a great eyeshadow to add to my collection. It’s a perfect, subtle neutral that looks nearly or completely shimmer-less. I really like the 100% Pure brand and have liked their eyeshadows in the past so I’m glad to have this one to play around with. It looks like it would be a great day-to-day eyeshadow and a base for pairing with a ton of other colors too. I’m not sure if this was one of the bonus items since I didn’t get the info card this month, but if it is, it’s a great bonus item!

Vegancuts Beauty Box Review December 2020 – Final Thoughts

I like this month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box overall, even though there are a few items I likely won’t get much use out of. It’s still fun to be introduced to new products and brands as I’m often inspired to look further into their product lines. I really love two of the items – the facial roller and the eyeshadow and the collagen definitely sounds interesting to try. So even though I might not try the others this was overall still a fun selection. I love when bonus items are sent and what great timing too – like an extra little Christmas present!
