February Box Details ($62 total value)

“The February Beauty Box theme is: Valen-time to yourself! February isn’t just about Valentines, it’s also great for a bit of “me” time and a chance to pamper after the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season. This month we are featuring brands that we know you will love such as Natura and there Castanha Foot Cream that has castanha oil and cupuaçú butter from Brazil, it will really help with that rough, dry and even cracked skin. Also this month we have the Shampoo bar from Superzero, with almost as much shampoo as a 8.4 oz bottle of shampoo but without all the plastic, perfect for normal, fine and oily hair without using microplastics and harmful chemicals to really help give your hair a new lease of life. This along with two other products come together to make a box vauled at $61+ and to really help relax and unwind as we look forward to that warmer weather on the horizon.”

Here’s a look at what’s in the February Vegancuts Beauty Box:

Natura- Castanha Foot Cream ($18)

“A pampering foot cream enriched with a blend of nourishing castanha oil and cupuaçú butter from Brazil that sinks into skin to smooth and sooth rough, dry, and even cracked skin. Apply liberally on feet, from heels to toes. Massage well until fully absorbed.”

Foot cream sounds like a nice treat! It seems a bit more of a summer need, but dry winter skin extends to feet too I suppose. It would be nice to apply after a bath or at least a foot bath. It could be nice for a pre-bed ritual too. I’ve not heard of this brand before and enjoy finding new products like this.

Superzero – Mini Shampoo bar for Normal/Oily fine hair ($7)

“A Shampoo that deeply cleanses your hair while smoothing and nourishing your hair shafts and improving hair texture for shiny, soft, bouncy hair that never weighs you down.”

I have been loving experimenting with shampoo bars and find them to be just as effective at cleansing as traditional shampoos. This one smells really nice and clean and is a cute little size too. I look forward to trying it out for my next hair washing.

The Humble Co. – Black Sensitive Toothbrush ($5)

“An eco-friendly toothbrush with a handle made of 100% biodegradable and sustainably-grown bamboo along with packaging made of recycled material that can be thrown in the organic trash.”

I love getting toothbrushes in boxes since they are such a useful item that you go through relatively often. I also really like bamboo toothbrushes for their lack of plastic, they’re what I use currently so this fits into my stash well.

Nuria – Defend Skin Restoring Serum ($32)

“Give your skin a potent boost with Carrot Seed Oil, the “miracle oil” that restores and rejuvenates. Trusted by women across Asia for Generations. Gently apply 1-2 drops to your face and neck, morning and night. Allow it to absorb completely before following with a moisturizer or make-up.”

This sounds like a nice and restoring serum. I love the unique dropper incorporated into the cap, I’ve never seen one like it. I also like the short ingredient list and it smells really nice. Unfortunately they use fragrance in it, which is something I try to avoid. I wish it was fragrance free to just focus on the skin benefits or used essential oils instead. I’m on the fence on if I’ll try this one or pass it along.

Vegancuts Beauty Box Review February 2022 – Final Thoughts

I am enjoying this month’s box of me-time, self-care products! I love the variety of items that includes a body care, oral care, hair care and skin care product – a wonderful range for just a 4 product box. I appreciate the usefulness of the items too (especially the toothbrush and shampoo bar) and will certainly get a lot of use out of them too. The foot cream will be a nice and soothing treat and the serum has some intriguing ingredients that are known to be nourishing to skin. I’m always happy that Vegancuts Beauty Box introduces me to new brands that are not only vegan, but often low waste too. This was another fun and lovely (in it’s color coordinating hues) box this month!
