Here’s a look at what’s in the October Vegancuts Beauty Box

Pacifica Clean Shot Serum

This is a retinoid and bakuchiol serum for helping to turn over skin cells for brighter skin and a more even complexion. I like the concept of this product and it has a nice and light texture. However, I already have a retinol product I use and like so I don’t know that I’ll make the switch to this one.

J & L Strength Hair Serum

I’ve tried a few other products from this brand and have enjoyed them so I’m happy to find this hair serum in this month’s box. Especially since this is one of their products I haven’t tried yet. It’s a lightweight oil with a simple ingredient list. It has not scent which makes it nice to apply especially for those with sensitive noses. I’ve tried hair oils in the past and found them a bit heavy for my fine hair so I’m curious to try this out and compare it.

Dr Botanicals Coffee and Walnut Face Exfoliator

The combo of coffee and walnut makes me think this will smell really delightful to use (I didn’t open the seal up yet to check). It sounds like a nice morning skin treat. I don’t often use physical face exfoliators any more, but I’m intrigued about this one. If it has really fine particle exfoliators I’d be keen to use it for sure.

Acure Ultra Hydrating 12 Hour Facial Moisturizer

A super hydrating moisturizer is a great item for the impending colder months when things dry up in the environment. I alway like Acure products so I’m sure this one is a nice daily skin quencher. I’m not necessarily looking for a new moisturizer right now, but it might be worth trying, especially on a really dry and chilly day.

Vegancuts Beauty Box Review October 2021 – Final Thoughts

Overall this month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box was just ok to me. I don’t totally get the “camera ready” theme for the month. I guess I can connect that all of these products will help you have smooth skin and hair so that’s probably why. However I would have expected some cosmetics or something a bit glam or bold. Especially since it’s Halloween month! I mean, I wouldn’t expect costume kind of makeup, but something a bit festive would have been fun. Regardless though, there were a few interesting products they included that will still be worth trying out. Hopefully they bring that smooth skin and hair they promise!
