September Box Details ($111.90 total value)

“The September Beauty Box theme is: Fresh Faces for Fall. Fall is an opportunity for re-emergence, and this month we’re bringing you unique beauty to freshen our faces. I’m excited to debut the boutique brand, Balade En Provence, which is handmade in France and is 100% zero waste. We’re featuring their amazing Solid Day Cream bar which is the gem we were all waiting to discover – nourishing and eco-conscious. You’ll also find the delicious and decadent salve from Bali Balm – where each flavor is an exotic exploration and a moisturizing treat. Discover these plus 2 more premium beauty products valued at over $78.”

Here’s a look at what’s in the September Vegancuts Beauty Box:

Bali Balm – Lip Balm Bergamot & Grapefruit or Lemon & Black Pepper ($33)

“These luxury balms feature exceptionally unique flavors and are formulated with sustainable ingredients. Non-sticky and perfect for daily use or under lipstick. In cold weather, massage the tube between your fingers to soften the balm for easier flow.”

Out of the two options to receive I got the Bergamot & Grapefruit flavor. It smells so delightfully refreshing, like cool citrus. I’ve actually tried this lip balm before and really liked it. It’s rich and moisturizing, a treat for lips. It will come in handy as the cooler temps bring dryer air.

Balade En Provence – Solid Day Cream ($27)

“Hand made in France with premium ethically sourced ingredients with 100% compostable and recyclable packaging. Protect and regenerate your skin while respecting the environment. Glide over face, allowing the warmth of your skin to melt the bar or blow onto bar to aid in melting. Use fingers to gently massage the product into your skin until fully absorbed.”

This is a unique product! One that I’ve not tried before. This day cream is in a solid bar form that you just slowly glide over skin to apply. It’s totally plastic free which is really cool! It’s also made with just a few simple and organic ingredients which is great. Since it’s base is cacao seed butter it seems like it might be a bit richer, so nice for cooler and dryer months. I don’t necessarily need a new moisturizer, but I’m intrigued at it’s application process so I’ll definitely be trying this one out.

21 Drops – De-Stress Roll On ($16)

“Anit-oxident rich and featuring key essential oils like Frankincense for quieting the mind and Ylang Ylang to soothe nerves. This organic therapeutic roller is perfect to complete your full facial experience or keep in your bag for daily use or before you go to bed. Apply as needed in circular motion to temples, wrists, collarbone or front of neck. Inhale and relax.”

This essential oil roller smells so good! It certainly lives up to it’s name as it’s aroma is calming and brings feelings of grounding with each inhale. It smells a bit floral and a bit herbal, a unique scent. I love collecting these types of rollers to help match any mood I’m in. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of this one (perhaps unfortunately haha).

Earth Kiss – Kombucha & Turmeric Clay Mask ($2.99)

“Turmeric and Kombucha work in harmony drawing out toxins from pores while safeguarding against free radical damage that can contribute to acne flare-ups. Apply evenly to clean skin, relax for 10-15 min. Rinse with warm water and gently pat dry.”

Face masks are always a good find in subscription boxes. This single use one is super easy to use and sounds like it has great benefits. It’s said to detox while the turmeric helps brighten. I’m always looking for things to help with both so this could be a fun one to try out.

Vegancuts Beauty Box Review September 2021 – Final Thoughts

What a fun box to usher in Fall! This month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box brought along a few fun and unique items that are great for getting skin ready for the cooler temps. I like that the nourishing lip balm and day cream were highlighted and I appreciate having the essential oil roller for stress relief as we creep toward the holiday season! Of course the mask is a nice treat any time too. I like that this box always sends interesting items and how it’s a smaller selection so you have time to try everything out. Overall it was a fun box of fall beauty treats!
