December Box Details

“The December Snack Box: Sweet & Savory Snacks to celebrate the holiday season! The December Snack Box is one of the most epic snack boxes of the year. Inside you will find a variety of snacks and vegan alternatives to classic staple ingredients. This box is sure to make the perfect holiday gift for anyone on your list. Also, all new and existing subscribers will be getting a bonus item in their boxes!”

Here’s a look at what’s in the December Vegancuts Snack Box:

Hippeas Nacho Hippeas

I’ve only ever tried the White Cheddar flavor of these and I really liked those so I’m sure these are delicious too- maybe even more delicious! I mean, nacho cheese flavor? Could they possibly taste like Dorritos?

Theo Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Bar

I love Theo Chocolate! And the Sea Salt flavor is one of my faves. This chocolate is organic and fair trade and has a super short and clean ingredient list. This will likely be the first item I dig into from this box. Can’t resist chocolate!

Nugo Dark Chocolate Mocha Protein Bar

Some protein bars don’t sound or look appetizing to me, but this one does! It looks more crunchy and less dense that other protein bars. There are 10g of protein in this one and the protein source comes from soy. I don’t drink coffee, but I do like the smell and flavor of it, plus it’s more muted when mixed with chocolate so this flavor will likely be a good one. This would be good for a breakfast on the go.

Elma Farms Poshi Marinated Artichokes

I don’t eat a lot of artichokes, but when I’ve had them they’ve tasted pretty good. Granted, it’s often in the form of a dip with crackers, so having them plain might be a different story. These are steamed and marinated with basil & thyme, which are tasty, and they make for a really good vitamin packed snack on the go.

Pirq Golden Vanilla OR Decadent Chocolate Beverage

I got the golden vanilla flavor in my box and that sounds pretty delicious! This is a snack beverage that’s protein-rich (12g) with added superfoods of almonds, curcumin and maca. This is another great on-the-go snack that’s easy to pop in your bag or purse.

Pyure Organic Harmless Hunny

A sugar-free non-honey sweetener that tastes like honey?? Sounds too good to be true, but I’m definitely intrigued by this one. It’s made with organic ingredients and looks to have a texture almost like honey, probably a little bit thinner though. This will be great for adding to my teas or breakfast oatmeal.

Navitas Organics Vanilla & Greens Essential Blends

I never know about protein powder beverages because they don’t usually taste that great to me, but I’m always willing to try them and I am always looking for good sources of protein. Along with protein this one also has superfoods and greens added to maximize the nutritional benefits. You just add this one to water, nutmilk, a smoothie, or other beverage of choice so it’s pretty easy to take on the go too.

Ellyndale Organics Keto Coconut Infusions

This one is really interesting to me! I limit my dairy intake and I miss butter so I’m wondering how this one compares. There are 3 individual packets in this one so it’s easy to take on the go too. Great for things like popping in your purse to take to an Italian restaurant when you want to enjoy the Italian bread but don’t do butter.

Beanitos Sea Salt Black Bean Chips

These chips look like they’d taste great with a little salsa. They are made with black beans and rice flour- no corn, yet they look just like tortilla chips. A great alternative with more protein.

Bobo’s Chocolate Chip Oat Bites

I love Bobo’s Bites! I don’t think I’ve tried the chocolate chip flavor, but you can’t ever go wrong with chocolate chips so I’m sure this one is great too. I also like the size of these, they are like little condensed granola bars and are super easy to eat.

Humming Hemp Spicy Hemp Hearts

These sound perfect for topping a salad with! I often put plain hemp hearts on my salad but jazzing it up with a bit of flavor sounds so tasty. You can also eat them plain for a snack and it would be easy to do, just pour them straight in your mouth. The flavor of these is “Spicy” and are made with onion, smoked paprika, garlic, guajillo pepper, cayenne and tomato powder.

Bonus: Sixteen Extra Larabars in 8 Different Flavors

This is an awesome bonus item! Any new 3, 6, or 12 month subscribers will find this in their box this month. It’s a giant box of full sized Larabars – 16 total to be exact. It’s a variety pack with 8 flavors (2 of each)- like Apple Pie, Cashew Cookie, Blueberry Muffin and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Larabars are made with very simple ingredients, none in this box have over 6 ingredients. All the bars are made with dates and almonds plus additional items based on the flavor. These are great for snacking. I’ve only tried a handful of their flavors so I look forward to testing these all out!

Vegancuts Snack Box Review December 2019 – Final Thoughts

Wow! This month’s Vegancuts Snack Box was packed to the brim and is a heavy one too so you know it’s full of goodness The bonus item was huge this month for new subscribers – so many Larabars! That in itself is worth the cost. But overall a really great value! I actually think my box might have been missing one item. I didn’t get an information card, but was emailed a list of items and it also included Kibo Mediterranean Herb Chickpea Chips. I’m sure they are tasty, but I can’t confirm since I didn’t get them. Regardless, there are plenty of other treats in here for snacking. This is the perfect time of year to stock up on snacks too for when you’ve got to go to gatherings when and have dietary preferences so it’s awesome timing to build up a stash. Who needs holiday cookies anyway?!? Haha. It was another great Vegancuts Snack Box this month!
