December Box Details

“The December Vegancuts Snack Box theme is – Best of 2020: Our favorite new products from plant-milks to meal starters to seasonal snacks we can’t get enough of! 2020 has been quite a year, but despite challenges, we’ve made it through! With that in mind, I thought we should celebrate our favorite foods from 2020 in this month’s Snack Box. We’re sharing our favorite new Plant Milk (made with peas!), do-it-yourself Roasted Almonds, the most delicious tea we’ve ever tasted and even a new Banana Chocolate Chip Oat Bar that’s free from the top allergens! December’s Box would make a great gift for yourself or your vegan-curious loved ones this holiday season. Sending a big Vegancuts hug from our family to yours.”

Here’s a look at what’s in the December Vegancuts Snack Box:

Blüm – Toasty Almonds in Cocoa Espresso or Cinnamon Spice or Spicy Chili Lime

“Super-tasty, flavorful almonds you roast yourself.”

Out of the flavor options I received the Cinnamon Spice flavor – which sounds super delicious and very perfect for the holidays. I think the concept of this item is cool how you prep the items to be hot and fresh with flavor yourself by adding in oil and seasoning then heating, but I’m not a fan of microwaving, especially in plastic containers so I’ll have to come up with a different way to prepare these.

Sproud – Unsweetened Plant-Based Milk

“Creamy & foamy in coffee, perfect in tea, in smoothies and on cereals.”

I’m currently avoiding dairy in my diet so I’m intrigued to try this out. I don’t necessarily have a use for it as I don’t drink coffee or anything, but perhaps it could be used to make oatmeal or added to tea. It’s made with pea protein and is a sustainable plant-based option. I’m pretty curious how this actually tastes so I’ll likely give it a try.

Picky Bars – Ah, Fudge Nuts! Chocolate & Peanut Butter

“Tastes like a fudgy peanut butter brownie, yum!”

I love a peanut butter and chocolate combo so this sounds delicious. These bars are formulated to be an ideal mix of carbs, fat and protein for a balanced snack. I like that it’s made with simple ingredients and that the flavor sounds like a candy bar.

FullGreen – Portobello Mushroom Riced Ideas

“A great swap for a high-carb mushroom vegan risotto.”

I don’t like mushrooms at all so there is little chance I’d eat this. I know a lot of people who do though, so I’m sure I will find someone to enjoy this. If it weren’t mushroom flavored, it does sound like an interesting product to try.

Riceworks – Wild Sea Salt & Black Sesame Rice Snacks

“Allergy-friendly crisps that go perfectly with vegan cheeses.”

I like crunchy snacks so these will likely hit the spot and make for a quick and tasty snack option. I’m sure they’d pair well with some hummus or are would even just be good by themselves.

Shanti Bar – Dark Chocolate Brownie Cacao Shanti Mini

“Boosts immunity, reduces oxidative stress, and tastes delicious, too.”

Yum! I love brownies! I am so intrigued to see if this compares and fills the craving for the real thing. It’s a little bite sized sampler bar which is a nice way to try it out to see if you like it. I suppose if it’s really good it would make a healthy dessert replacement option as it’s made with organic and whole food ingredients.

OffBlak – Tea Sampler with 3 Flavors

“Healthy lifestyle teas – with style.”

This tea caught my eye right away when I opened the package. Not only does it have really bright and fun packing, but the flavors sound so delicious too. It’s a sampler of 3 flavors including: a fruit tea with forest fruits and ginger, an herbal tea with cranberry and cinnamon, and a black tea with mint and chocolate. I love trying new teas so I can’t wait to brew up a cup of each of these!

PlantFusion – Rich Chocolate Collagen Builder

“A delicious way to optimize your inner health”

I’ve received one of these in the last handful of boxes, and I don’t recall if this is one of the flavors I’ve already received or not. I guess even if I had, chocolate is always a welcome flavor so it’s a good pick. These are nice as they are super convenient to prepare for when you’re short on time.

Free Yumm – Bananas and Chocolate Chip Oat Bar

“Two of everyone’s favorite flavors in one delicious snack bar.”

Banana and chocolate is another favorite flavor combo of mine so this sounds extra tasty. These are made free of the top 10 food allergens which is great for people who have any of those allergies. I don’t have a food allergy, but do try to avoid going overboard on many of them so it’s nice to have a snack option that makes that simple. It feels like a pretty small bar, maybe better for children or at least not as filling if you’re really hungry.

Nuttzo – Keto Nut & Seed Butter 2Go

“Perfect on-the-go vegan creamy protein snack.”

I love this nut butter! It’s so delicious. I’ve purchased this before myself, but it’s still nice to have this little snack sized pouch for taking on the go or for when I run out of the jar I currently have.

Vegancuts Snack Box Review December 2020 – Final Thoughts

It’s fun that this month’s Vegancuts Snack Box theme was a favorite new finds of 2020 theme. Every monthly box they send is always full of new items to me, but it’s cool that they specifically chose some of their favorites for this month. I like that they are always looking or interesting and innovative prouducts to send. They always do such a great job of ensuring variety in type and flavor to keep things interesting.
