February Box Details

“For the love of snacks, we are loading the February Vegancuts Snack Box with so many delicious goodies. We are talkin’ boxed vegan mac and cheese from Modern Table, a decadent almond milk chocolate bar from Taza, clean Blueberry Vanilla energy bars from Picky Bars, toasted coconut protein cookies from Lenny & Larry’s, and so many more. The February Box has the absolute perfect mix of sweet, savory, and unique items that will be loved by both vegans and non-vegans alike.”

Here’s a look at what’s in the February Vegancuts Snack Box:

Picky Bars Blueberry Boomdizzle Bar

“Delicious, nutritious, and packed with flavor.”

This is a plant-based protein bar made with blueberries, almonds and vanilla. That sounds like a winning flavor combo to me! The ingredients used create an ideal balance of carbs, fats and protein for a boost of natural energy. The ingredient list is simple and natural and least half are organic. This would be great for on-the-go snacking or a quick breakfast.

Miracle Tree Organic Moringa Superfood Energy Infusions Chai Tea

I really like chai tea but rarely drink it because I don’t drink caffeine. This tea says it’s super caffeinated too – 155mg of caffeine compared to 125mg in regular coffee so I likely won’t be trying this product although I’m sure it’s delicious! It’s organic and nutrient dense and is a good replacement for coffee for anyone trying to cut that out.

Overnight Oats by Dave’s Naturals in Apple Nut

This sounds like a delicious, and not to mention super quick and convenient, breakfast option. I love apple anything so I’m sure this would be a good way to start the day. It’s super easy to make, you just have to add your favorite milk at night and by morning it will be ready to eat. I like that it’s made with organic whole grain oats.

Modern Table Vegan Mac – Southwest

I love mac and cheese so I’m super curious about how this product compares to traditional mac. It’s pasta is made with red lentil flour, white rice and pea protein and it’s sauce is made with ingredients like pea protein, tomatoes and organic palm oil. I’m not sure where the cheese flavor comes from, maybe it’s just more of a southwest flavor? Worth trying as this is also gluten-free and that’s something I try to be mindful of in my diet.

Taza Chocolate – Almond Milk Quinoa Crunch Bar

“A brand new product! Vegan (almond) milk chocolate – yum!”

Chocolate is always a winner item to find in a box and this looks like a really tasty one! It has all the good stuff too – crunchies in the form of quinoa, organic ingredients, it’s paleo, vegan and 100% plant based. They source direct trade chocolate who’s growers respect the environment and have fair labor standards. It’s made with almond milk and is sweetened with coconut sugar.

R.E.D.D. Bar Cinnamon Roll Bar

The packaging of this bar draws my eye in and makes me want to try it right away – such a pretty pink! This is a plant-based protein bar that’s flavor is cinnamon roll. I always crave cinnamon rolls so maybe this could be a fix to take my mind off of the craving? There is 10g of protein, only 3g of sugar, prebiotics + 1 billion CFU probiotics and an adaptogenic mushroom blend. Also, this protein bar doesn’t have nuts in it which is hard to find so I’ll be curious to try!

Dieffenbach’s Kettle Cooked Uglies Potato Chips Original Sea Salt

“Made from “ugly” potatoes”

Who can say no to potato chips?! I’m intrigued to see if using “ugly” potatoes affects how the chips look at all? Maybe it just helps with reducing potato waste which I’m all about. The package says that yearly 26% of US produce is discarded for cosmetic reason so it’s great that they are doing something to at least save some potatoes.

Lenny & Larry’s Complete Crunchy Cookies in Toasted Coconut

“Packed with Protein!”

These sound like a good little snack for when you’re craving something sweet. I like coconut and think a coconut cookie sounds delicious. They are not gluten-free, but are vegan and plant-based.

Mary’s Gone Crackers Super Seed Classic

“Pair these with hummus or vegan cheese.”

These crackers are vegan and gluten free and are made with brown rice and a medley of seeds for a nutrient packed snack. I agree these are likely perfect for pairing with hummus or another dip of choice. This snack sized pack would be perfect for packing in a lunch.

Ocean’s Halo Mini Pho Broth

“Take your soups to the next level.”

This is a base for a soup, much like a chicken broth would be used. It’s organic, a good source of vitamin D, non-gmo, vegan and gluten-free. It says heat and add noodles along with protein and vegetables. This sounds like a quick and easy way to make a healthy lunch.

Vegancuts Snack Box Review February 2020 – Final Thoughts

Such a cute theme for this month, and so fitting too since it’s nearly Valentine’s day and Vegancuts Snack Box is always packed with tasty snacks. I love snacking and it’s one of the reasons I like this box so much since it introduces me to new products to try each month and covers all my snacking needs. It’s got something sweet, something salty, something for morning and something for lunch or evening too. It’s got protein packed on-the-go snacks and a few items that you can slow down and do a little cooking with. As usual such a good variety that reminds me to nourish my body and give it some love (and snacks!) this time of year.
