January Box Details

“January Vegancuts Snack Box – A Plant-Based Snacking Starter Kit. Well hello 2021! The new year always brings new beginnings, and especially if you’re a new vegan or are taking steps to introduce more vegan goodness in your life, you’ll love our January Snack Box! In support of the Veganuary Movement, I chose 10 of my favorite brands that, in my opinion, really make vegan food shine. Expect Chocolate Chunk Blondies, mouthwatering Fruit Crisps, sweet and salty crunchy afternoon pick-me-ups and so much more! We at Vegancuts wish you the absolute best for the coming year, and thank you for trusting us with your snacking!”

Here’s a look at what’s in the January Vegancuts Snack Box:

Explore Cuisine Organic Edamame & Spirulina Spaghetti

“A deliciously innovative pasta packed with superfoods.”

What a great alternative to those that are not only vegan, but also those that are gluten-free or on a low carb diet. Plus it has an awesome amount of protein per serving, 24g! I love spagetti, and even though I’m not needing to be low-carb this will be a fun alternative to try.

The Snack Brigade Cinnamon Apple Pie IncrediPuffs

“Sugar and spice and everything crunchy.”

I love apples and apple flavored snacks so these are sure to be delicious. I like that they are a puff treat that’s baked and not fried.

Rule Breaker Chocolate Chunk Blondies

“Quite possibly the best chocolate chip cookie you’ve ever had.”

Oh yum! I love blondies so I’ll be digging into this right away! It’s gluten-free and made with chickpeas plus it has less sugar making it less-guilt sweet treat. This will make for a nice dessert replacement. Maybe slightly warmed with some dairy-free ice cream too!

Outstanding Foods Texas BBQ Pigless Pork Rinds

“We can’t believe something this delicious contains protein.”

For some reason I feel like I’ve gotten this item before in this box. Not a bad thing to have a duplicate though. I do like BBQ flavored things so it will be a good treat regardless.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Frooze Balls

“A sweet treat with a peanut-buttery center.”

I love, love, love peanut butter and jelly so this item is perfect for me! I generally try to stay gluten-free so this is a great replacement for when I’ve got a craving but want to avoid bread.

Nora Spicy Tempura Seaweed Snacks

“Salty, spicy and oh-so-yummy!”

I don’t love seaweed snacks or super spicy things, so this might be one snack I’ll be passing on to someone who does. I know seaweed has some health benefits so I like the idea of this snack, I just don’t know if it’s for me.

Life’s Grape Classic Vine-Dried Grapes

“The sweetest, juiciest sun-dried treats.”

When I first saw this I was like, aren’t these just raisins then? But I looked further into it and they have a different drying process that results in a juicier and sweeter snack. I really like raisins, so I can’t wait to try these and see how different they are.

Natural Sins Pineapple OR Mango Baked Fruit Chips

“A perfectly crunchy chip made from fruit.”

I like dried fruit chip snacks so these will be interesting to try since it’s usually apples that I’ve found in this form. I prefer pineapples to mangos, so I would have loved to get that option in my box, but these will still be fun to try.

ONE PLANT Chocolate Peanut Butter OR Churro

“12 grams of yummy plant protein and only 1 gram of sugar.”

Out of the two flavor options, I got the Churro bar. I would have been happy with either flavor, but this one is certainly more unique and fun so I’m glad that’s what showed up. I like trying out different protein bars and haven’t heard of this one before. They make a great and quick snack.

Vitafive Elderberry for Immunity

“Fruit gummies that support healthy immune function.”

Well this is a perfect item for wintertime. I think immunity is on everyone’s mind right now, and not just because of the season we’re in, so it will be fun to try out this convenient immunity boosting gummie. It will be like a tiny treat, but also have health benefits- fun!

Vegancuts Snack Box Review January 2021 – Final Thoughts

I like that this month’s Vegancuts Snack Box theme revolves around people who might be new to vegan food. They certainly packed a well-rounded box of unique and tasty-sounding items for new-comers. I’m actually not vegan myself, but try to eat plant-based whenever I can so I can attest that this box really makes it fun, interesting and convenient. It’s always introducing new brands and snacks (although there were a few this month that I’ve seen before), but if you’re new to it than everything will be a treat. I love the classic flavors of several of the items (like the blondie and the pb&j Froozeballs) and appreciate the spins on classic food (like the spaghetti and the vine-dried grapes). As usual I can’t wait to dig in and am excited to see what else my 2021 Vegancuts boxes deliver!
