November Box Details

“Oat So Thankful: November’s Vegancuts snack box will be packed with an abundance of sweet treats. We are “Oat So Thankful” for you so this month’s featured items pack a real punch. First, you will unwrap an Endangered Species ESC One Puffed Rice Crunch + Dark Chocolate bar. Second, you will snack on gooey delicious JJ’s Sweets Coconut Sugar Caramels. And finally, you will enjoy UNREAL’s Dark Chocolate Crispy Peanut Gems. Happy Thanksgiving!”

I love a good pun so the theme of this month’s Vegancuts Snack Box really spoke to me! This is my first time receiving this box so I am “Oat So Thankful” to be reviewing it haha. It’s literally packed to the brim with yummy snacks to try and I can’t wait to dig in.

Here’s a look at what’s in the November Vegancuts Snack Box:

Popchips Barbeque Potato Chips

I love BBQ chips, but I ended up giving these to my husband and he gave them a thumbs up. He said they had a good, strong BBQ flavor on a light and crisp chip. I’ve tried popchips before and have liked them, I’ve just never had this flavor.

Endangered Species Chocolate ONE Rice Crisp + Dark Chocolate Bar

“Cool fact! Endangered Species Chocolate has given $1.4 million to support conservation efforts for endangered species and habitats.”

I love chocolate, and especially crispy chocolate so this item is right up my alley. I will for sure enjoy this one as an after dinner treat. The ingredients are simple, premium, non-GMO and fair-trade and they give 10% of net profits to funds that help wildlife thrive. I love products that give back!

Good! Snacks Birthday Cake Bar

It’s my birthday this month so this is a fun surprise with perfect timing! It’s like they knew haha. This is a protein bar that’s supposedly tastes like birthday cake and even has sprinkles in it that are colored with vegetable extracts. I’m doubting it subs for the real thing, but it’s a fun treat with a healthier twist. The protein source comes from fava beans and brown rice and is 15 grams per bar.

Tahoe Trail Bar Caramel Chocolate Chunk

This is a gluten free and vegan energy bar that’s made with all plant-based ingredients including gluten-free oats, peanuts and sunflower seeds. The caramel chocolate chunk flavor sounds so delicious – almost too delicious really. It sounds more like a candy bar than a protein bar so I’m intrigued to try this one out.

IQ Bar

“Each bar contains 6 brain nutrients, 10g plant protein,4g net carbs, and 1 g sugar.”

This is a nutrition bar that’s formulated with clean-label ingredients that are rich in compounds shown to benefit the brain and body. Each bar contains 6 brain nutrients such as lion’s mane for keeping the brain sharp and MCTs for mental energy. This bar is the banana nut flavor which is said to taste just like banana bread and I love banana bread!

Shanti Bar Mini

This is another protein bar made with superfoods. It’s raw, organic and vegan and has 3g of plant protein in this mini size. This one’s flavor is salted nutty caramel coconut which sounds so delicious. I can see though the packaging on this one and it looks good too!

La Colombe Oat Milk Draft Latte

I don’t actually drink coffee so I’ll be giving this one to my husband too, however if I did drink coffee I’d be really intrigued to try this one out. I’ve liked other oat milk products that I’ve tried so I’d be curious how it made the coffee taste. It’s convenient that it’s a ready to go product so would be perfect to pack in your purse for the commute to work.

JJ’s Sweets Coconut Sugar Cocomels

“Perfect for making vegan caramel apples!”

I opened these almost immediately (well after snapping a few pictures of course). I couldn’t help myself they sounded so tasty and they are! I can definitely taste a hint of coconut but I love coconut so it’s great. The texture of these definitely passes as regular caramel too- they could fool anyone. It’s perfectly sticky and chewy and so delicious.

Fullgreen Cauli Rice Riced Cauliflower with Broccoli

“Cool fact! Fullgreen’s Riced Cauliflower has 89% fewer carbs than white rice.”

I’ve been eating this kind of thing for lunch so this is a great item to receive. I love riced cauliflower because it’s so easy to cook and eat. This package is 60% cauliflower and 40% broccoli and nothing else. I always look for simple whole ingredients when I can so this is perfect.

Four Sigmatic Chai Latte Mushroom Mix

I love chai lattes but rarely do caffeine so this alternative is a great find that will be a nice morning pick-me-up. It’s an organic mushroom beverage made with turkey tail and reishi mushrooms. It’s dairy free and lightly sweetened and is created to help support a happy, healthy gut.

UNREAL Dark Chocolate Crispy Peanut Gems

I love these chocolates! They are one of my favorite little snacks, especially this peanut dark chocolate version. I try to only eat a few at a time but they are so good I can never stop! They are non-gmo verified, are made with fair trade ingredients and are colored with vegetables.

New Chapter Complete Organic Plant Protein + Chocolate Powder

I’m always looking for good ways to get extra protein in and I haven’t tried this product yet. I still have yet to find one that doesn’t taste too chalky so it will be interesting to see how this one tastes. I like that it’s chocolate flavored, I’m sure that helps.

Bonus! Nutiva O’Coconut Snacks

Since this is my first Vegancuts box I got this fun bonus item. Anyone who subscribes in November will get this item in their box. It’s a full size bag of coconut snack treats that are individually wrapped so they’re perfect for on the go. They taste just like coconut macaroons so if you don’t like coconut these might not be for you, but I do like it and think these are tasty.

Vegancuts Snack Box Review November 2019 – Final Thoughts

Like I mentioned, this is my first time receiving and reviewing the Vegancuts Snack box. It is such a fun box to open up and I really enjoy all the items. It’s packed with treats, more than I imagined would be included and a good handful of them are full sized. I especially appreciate the Unreal Chocolates being full sized since they are my fave! I like that many items are organic and that attention is paid to the ingredients of items chosen too. There isn’t one item I’m not curious about (even if I don’t drink coffee!) so I look forward to seeing next month’s box!
