October Box Details

“October Snack Box: No Tricks. Just Treats! It’s October, which means it’s SPOOKY season! This month’s mysterious box is filled with 10 treats that will make even the trickiest snackers happy. I’ve included a delicious almond butter cookie from Love + Chew, Black Truffle Hot Sauce from TRUFF, and 2 flavors of hauntingly yummy chips from Kibo. Look out for vegan candies, crunchy chips and breakfast treats to satisfy those fall cravings.”

Here’s a look at what’s in the October Vegancuts Snack Box:

Pig Out Pigless Pork Rinds

This is a repeat item for me and they taste good, but it’s not as thrilling as other items included. I got this flavor a handful of months back and then a couple other flavors since then. Since they aren’t the healthiest snack and a repeat I will likely pass these along.

Kibo Chickpea Chips Pico De Gallo

These are actually another repeat product, that was also good and an interesting twist on traditional chips. Again, not totally exciting, but useful for quick snacking.

Kibo Chickpea Chips Mediterranean Herbs

Now I haven’t tried this flavor before and it sounds tasty. I always enjoy mediterranean flavors so I’m sure these are good. They’d be a great compliment to a greek salad.

Ardor Sparkling Water White Peach

This sounds like a tasty beverage and has some fun added benefits with the addition of l-theanine which is said to help with focus. This would be a great work day beverage to keep you going. I unfortunately don’t drink caffeine so I won’t be trying this one out.

Candy Kittens Watermelon

I love gummies and these are too cute! I don’t generally love watermelon flavored candies so I don’t know if I’ll like this chosen flavor, but I’ll definitely try them out. If not, my husband loves both watermelon and sour gummies so I’m sure he’ll enjoy these too.

High Key Mixed Berry Breakfast Biscuit

I wasn’t really sure what was in these as it doesn’t say on the package. So I sleuthed the website and it says they are a gluten-free, grain-free and low carb cookie with real cranberries, chia seeds, and pumpkin seed. I like the relatively simple ingredient list and the flavor sounds good so I look forward to trying this one out.

K Pop Foods Sea Snacks Kimchi Flavor

I am really not a fan of seaweed snacks so I’m not feeling optimistic about this one. I suppose I’ll try it though just to know what the flavor is all about.

Olyra Hazelnut Cocoa Sandwich Cookie

This sounds really tasty! I love cookies and sandwich cookies always remind me of being a kid. Though, this one is a grown up version made with delicious hazelnut cream and (mostly) healthy organic ingredients. I’m sure I’ll like this one a lot!

Love + Chew The Superfood Cookie

I’ve spied these cookies before and have been curious to try them out so I’m glad to find this item in the box. First, the flavor sounds really good – I love banana bread. Second, it has a really simple and healthy ingredient list. I’m so intrigued to see how this healthy version of banana bread compares to the real thing. It could be a great replacement for the craving.

Truff Hot Sauce

This is a really pretty hot sauce bottle (not something I’d normally say about a hot sauce bottle) so it’s got me intrigued. I generally don’t like hot sauce or mushrooms so I’m unsure about this one. I will definitely try it out though, but I’m just not sure on what yet.

Vegancuts Snack Box Review October 2021 – Final Thoughts

Even though there were a handful of repeats or products I can’t or don’t want to really try this month, the selection was still balanced with a few sweet items that I’m really looking forward to testing out. For this month’s Vegancuts Snack Box theme they said their selection should make even the trickiest snackers happy, but I slightly disagree. I’m not a tricky snacker and I could have been a little happier with the box. Since it was for Halloween month I would have loved to see more chocolate or Halloween like treats. Especially since we get the kind of snacks they did include all the rest of the year. Overall this wasn’t my favorite box to date, but it did contain some items I’m looking forward to trying. Maybe next month will have a ton of new things to try out instead!
