Wildflower Club Review August 2021

Wildflower Club is a fun surprise box for the free spirited, the nature babes, and the wildflowers! They say the raw beauty of nature and the happiness that comes from spending time in the great outdoors inspires their entire line of Wildflower Paper Company products and this box. They kindly sent us this box for review.

This bi-monthly subscription club features nature themed boxes, designed with you in mind. As women, they know we do it all, take care of everyone else, and rarely leave time for ourselves. They believe in the sentiment that filling our own cup by recharging in nature (whether it be the mountains, the beach, the desert, the woods or a field of wildflowers) is key to living a full and happy life.

Every other month, Wildflower Club sends a delightful box full of beautiful surprises, custom tailored to lovers of all things found in nature. Each box contains 3-5 items (plus a sticker!) with a nature theme, all made in America by handmade artisans. A variety of businesses are included that are either women owned, eco-friendly, socially conscious, small batch, or all of the above.

August Box Details

“August Box Theme: Wildflower Summer. Hello wildflowers, What a summer! Here in Montana we’ve had a drought, wildfires, and smoke, and it’s been challenging to recreate outside. We’ve done our best to get in our camping trips, kayaking, and hiking whenever the smoke clears out for a bit. I hope the items in this box brighten your day and make it a little easier to enjoy the last days of summer. Everything in your box is made by a variety of small businesses that are either women owned, eco-friendly, socially conscious, small batch, or all of the above. Thank you for supporting small business!”

Summer is my very favorite season so I really appreciate the theme of this box that helps to savor all that summer has to offer. Everything included is sure to inspire packing in the summer fun found out in the great outdoors.

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Wildflower Club box:

Hand Lettered 8×10 Art Print, Wildflower Paper Company, Montana

I love this art print! I think it’s my favorite delivered yet. My daughter’s middle name is a wildflower so I think this will be absolutely perfect for her room. Especially since the colors work well with her decor. I can’t wait to hang it up.

Sticker, Wildflower Paper Company, Montana

The stickers that come in this box are always so cute. I like the simple black and white design of this one. It would be a perfect water bottle sticker which is convenient since a water bottle was also included in this box!

Travel Flower Press, Impressed By Nature, California

This is so fun! I’ve pressed a few plants in the past and it’s aways fun to see how they turn out after waiting until they dry. I’ve also seen such beautiful art done with the pressed flowers that I’ve wanted to experiment with too. This will be a great tool to use, not only for getting outside, but also getting creative.

Lychee & Rose Cold Brew Iced Tea, Teapigs, New York

This tea sounds so refreshing! I want to brew some up right now and sit out on the patio in the warm evening sun. It’s made with apples, white hibiscus, turmeric, lychee and rose petals. A crisp and refreshing flavor, it sounds like. These are so interesting that they brew in cold water, which is perfect for hot weather.

Travel Bamboo Utensil Set, Eko Traveler, California

This is the perfect picnic companion! This is the most extensive reusable utensil set I’ve received before, and I have a couple. As usual it includes a fork, spoon and knife, but this set also includes chopsticks, a stainless straw and a straw cleaner. There isn’t a utensil left out. This will come in handy many times so I’ll definitely be packing this in my bag for on-the-go.

Bamboo Toothbrush, Eko Traveler, California

I love bamboo toothbrushes! They are the current type of toothbrush I use right now so this item is perfect. It’s great getting items that are super functional and used every day so that I have backups for when I run out.

No Rain No Flowers Water Bottle, Wildflower Paper Company, Montana

This is such a cute water bottle! I love the simple stainless design, but I especially love the “No Rain, No Flowers” message and the pretty pink color it’s printed in. What an inspiring way to stay hydrated. You know, you’ve got to water yourself for growth too!

Trail Mix, Conundrum Snacks, Oregon

Yum! Trail mix is great for hiking, but really it’s great any time. This one’s got raisins, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, blueberries, hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, coconut, lavender and rosemary – what an interesting and delightful flavor combination. I’ve never thought of using lavender in a trail mix before and I’m so intrigued at how it enhances the flavor. I’ve got to get a hike planned to try this out!

Natural Insect Repellent Spray, Murphy’s Naturals, North Carolina

Living in Texas you cannot be anywhere without having bug spray so this item is perfect. I’ve not tried this natural version before, but it smells nice and sounds like it will work well. I can’t wait to try it out to see how it repels all those pesky bugs.

Temporary Tattoo, Wildflower Paper Company, Montana

I’ve always wanted a floral line drawn tattoo (a real one), but haven’t gone through with it yet. This little tattoo will be the perfect way to do a trial run to see if I really like something like it. Also, I always remember using temporary tattoos as a kid and it seems like it was more of a summer thing so this is perfect to bring out the kid in me and also invoke fun childhood summer memories.

Herb Snips, Seattle Seed Co, Washington

I’ve wanted to start an herb garden here in our new home, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. These would be perfect for snipping those herbs, but in the meantime they’d be great for snipping little wildflowers for the flower press above too. I like the simple and rustic design. I see many fun projects ahead!

Trailtopia Strawberry Oatmeal, Minnesota

This is a great snack or breakfast item for traveling, camping or hiking. It’s oatmeal you make straight in the pouch and eat right out of it. It’s made with really simple ingredients: whole grain rolled oats, sugar and freeze dried strawberries. I love strawberries so I’m sure this is extra tasty. I don’t have any camping trips planned, but this has sparked the idea in my mind that it may be a fun idea. And I’ll be sure to bring this along if I do.

Wildflower Club Review August 2021 – Final Thoughts

I just love the summer season so much and I wish it would never end. I suppose that’s why I’ve moved to a warm weather climate in hopes of prolonging it as much as possible. Of course all good things come to an end, but while it’s still here it’s going to be savored till the last drop. And this month’s Wildflower Club box is surely going to help do just that. The perfectly curated contents are inspiring me to get out on a hike, plan a road trip, set up a picnic in the park, go for a nature walk and just plain spend more time outside. The box is truly packed with goodies to make summer’s nature time that much more sweet. As always, this box is one of my very favorites to unbox and put to use. I cannot wait to try out everything included while I enjoy the remaining warmth of these last summer days!
