Wildflower Club Review October 2021

Wildflower Club is a fun surprise box for the free spirited, the nature babes, and the wildflowers! They say the raw beauty of nature and the happiness that comes from spending time in the great outdoors inspires their entire line of Wildflower Paper Company products and this box. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Wildflower Club is a bi-monthly subscription club featuring nature themed boxes, designed with you in mind. As women, they know we do it all, take care of everyone else, and rarely leave time for ourselves. They believe in the sentiment that filling our own cup by recharging in nature (whether it be the mountains, the beach, the desert, the woods or a field of wildflowers) is key to living a full and happy life.

Every other month, they’ll send a delightful box full of beautiful surprises, custom tailored to lovers of all things found in nature. Each box contains 3-5 items (plus a sticker!) with a nature theme, all made in America by handmade artisans. A variety of businesses are included that are either women owned, eco-friendly, socially conscious, small batch, or all of the above.

October Box Details

“Hello Wildflowers, One year ago I started the Wildflower Club! We’ve included a special extra treat in your box to celebrate our first birthday. It’s been a wonderful year and I’ve enjoyed every box I’ve put together for you, but this honey themed box might just be my favorite one yet! Everything in your box is made by a variety of small businesses that are either women owned, eco-friendly, socially conscious, small batch, or all of the above. Thank you for supporting small business!”

I just love honey bees (not the kind of bees that sting though). Not only are they cute, but they are super important too. I have grown to appreciate what they do for us and our food sources and love watching them buzz around. I love that this box is a tribute to them with all things bee inspired.

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Wildflower Club box:

Hand Lettered 8×10 Art Print, Wildflower Paper Company, Montana

I really like this art print and it’s cute bee themed quote. I always think of bees and the color yellow so I almost thought it would include the color, but regardless it’s still fun and different from the past few prints.

Sticker, Wildflower Paper Company, Montana

This might be the first time the sticker is the same as the art print? Though I don’t totally remember. It’s a cute decal and would be fun on a laptop or water bottle to remind yourself to be kind to yourself every time you look at it.

Honey Bee Canvas Shoulder Tote, Cognitive Surplus, Oregon

This is such a great tote! It’s really large and well constructed, it’s even lined so it feels sturdy too. I like the bee prints on the outside and especially the gold ink accents. The zipper pocket inside is really nice too. Great for storing smaller items so they don’t get lost in the bottom of the bag. I love the mission behind this company of “science meets design” and appreciate that they consciously created this product with recycled cotton and made the bag reversible for extra functionality. I think this tote will be the kind that gets comments or questions on where I got it from!

Birthday Cake Popcorn, Cornucopia Popcorn, Texas

Happy birthday to Wildflower Club! This popcorn is the perfect festive treat and sounds so delicious. I mean, anything birthday cake flavor is always a hit with me. I also love that its’s produced right here in Austin, TX where I live. A fun local find for me! This will be a delicious evening snack and I can’t wait to dig in.

Honey Bee Cheese Board, Talisman Designs, Minnesota

What a sweet little cheese board. I can picture a mini charcuterie spread now, of course with a bit of honey included. The etched design is simple, but adds a sophisticated touch. I love that the shape of the board is a honeycomb nod too. This will be fun to use at a get together or for a wine and cheese (and honey) night!

Whipped Honey Sampler and Mini Honey Dipper, TruBee Honey, Tennessee

The bee theme would not be complete without the inclusion of some honey and this whipped honey sampler trio sounds amazing! It includes their original whipped honey, lavender whipped honey (made with lavender extract), and cinnamon whipped honey (with fresh, organic cinnamon added). I didn’t expect them to be flavored and I’m really intrigued how those flavors add to the taste. I really love honey, and whipped honey is especially a treat. I cannot wait to try these all out!

Reusuable Produce Bag, Your Green Kitchen, Canada

What a lovely produce bag! Honestly it’s almost too pretty use, especially since I know produce can be a bit dirty before washing. Since it has the tare weight on the tag maybe I’ll use this one for bulk nuts and grains purchases. I appreciate that this is made with organic cotton, I love the bee print on the front and the drawstring closure is really handy.

Beeswax Votive Candle, Hani Honey Company, Florida

The cutest candle! I don’t know if I can bring myself to use this one either it’s just too cute. But I will, because I like burning candles in the evening and I really only prefer to use beeswax candles so this is the perfect item. Beeswax is known to be clean burning and purify the air as it burns too. I love the scent beeswax has and appreciate that this one is just pure with no fragrances added.

Strawberry Honey Lip Scrub, Wicked Soaps Co, Michigan

Oh wow! This lip scrub smells so good I could eat it! It smells exactly like fresh strawberries. I don’t know how they did that?! But I’m certainly looking forward to using it. I love lip scrubs and like that this one is made with simple, natural ingredients including raw honey and organic strawberry powder. My lips are going to love this one!

Wildflower Club Review October 2021 – Final Thoughts

Oh I just love this subscription box and this box might be one of the best ones yet! Though I don’t how how I could possibly ever decide that since each box they’ve sent since they’ve started has been incredible. The curation and dedication to having products connect to the chosen theme is always so on point. I really like the bee theme this season and find myself wanting to immediately dig in and use each and every product. Which I know I will because it truly is all useful and each item is something I would have bought for myself. I appreciate that in a subscription box and I also like that the variety of items spans so many categories. That way the box should appeal to many different people and needs. Overall, this box was extra wonderful and felt happy and uplifting. Sending happy birthday wishes to Wildflower Club! Hoping for many more (selfishly, because I want this box to continue on forever it’s so good)!!
