With YogiSecret each month a box full of 5-7 premium full-size, hand curated, all natural, fair-trade & cruelty free yoga items is delivered to your door to help enhance your yoga practice at half the retail price. The value of the items is estimated to generally be $89+ and includes such things as spiritual growth tools, fitness accessories, lifestyle products, aromatherapy, jewelry, candles, crystals and everything in between.

July Box Details ($67 total value)

I love this month’s box theme! Since July is “Plastic Free July” there really couldn’t have been a better concept for the collection of goods delivered. Each item focuses on reducing plastic waste and includes several different categories to jump start your plastic reduction in all areas of your life.
Here’s a look at what’s in the July YogiSecret box:
Bamboo Cutlery Set ($18)
“Carry this light weight set at all times to enhance your plastic free journey.”
I have been meaning to get myself one of these cutlery sets for on-the-go and just kept forgetting so this is an awesome item to find in this box. I love that it comes with a storage pouch so it can be stashed in any purse or bag for any kind of dining outside the house.
Root Natural Shampoo Bar ($10)
“Zero waste refreshing shampoo.”
I love the concept of plastic free hair care and this shampoo bar is as plastic free as it gets. It says it should last up to 90 washes so that will last forever! It’s made with moisturizing argan oil and also smells delightful & unique. I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s made with essential oils of: cinnamon, sichuon pepper, bamboo, sequoia. It’s a bit sweet and very fresh smelling. Can’t wait to try this one out!
Root Natural Conditioner Bar ($10)
“Zero waste moisturizing conditioner.”
Of course I can’t shampoo without conditioning so this item is equally exciting to try out. This is the matching conditioner bar to the shampoo bar above and is also made with moisturizing argan oil (plus a few additional nourishing ingredients). It smells the same and I’m sure will leave hair smells fresh and clean. I’ve always been skeptical of conditioner bars since I’m used to applying a thick cream, but I’m ready to give it a go and see how it compares.
EiR Cooling Butter ($24)
“A magic balm for sore muscles, cuts, burns, and other small abrasions.”
This sounds so soothing and is definitely a product I can put to use right away. My muscles often ache so this will be the perfect remedy. It’s a balm made with arnica and a blend of cooling essential oils including peppermint, lavender and tea tree. It smells mostly of peppermint, but is balanced by the floral notes of lavender. I’ll be using this one year round, but can definitely see how it would be especially nice in the summer.
Reusable YS Bag ($5)
“A stylish and reusable cotton bag for waste free grocery shopping and more.”
What a cute tote bag! I love the pop of pink and the simple graphic nature of the design. I feel like you can never have enough tote bags as there are so many uses, especially for waste free shopping. This one will definitely come in handy for grocery trips or even trips to the pool or beach.
YogiSecret Review July 2020 – Final Thoughts
Wow! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this box before it showed up, but the first impression is just SO good! This was my very first time reviewing YogiSecret and I love it so much already. I really picked a good month to start with the box theme that was chosen. I am very into trying to conscious-ify (made that word up) my purchases to reduce more and more plastic so the theme for this month’s box couldn’t fit better with my values. I love that it includes items from different categories and also from smaller brands and businesses too. I’m really looking forward to trying the shampoo & conditioner set, but truly everything else is just as exciting to receive. I would highly recommend checking this box out. I can’t wait to see what the August YogiSecret theme delivers next!
