It has been quite some time since my last Naked Snacks review and I am beyond excited to get my hands on another box. I have been a fan of this subscription from the very beginning. We discovered this box a couple years ago but they have been in business since 2014. I am snack obsessed, so this box is absolutely perfect for me.

Subscription Details

When you sign up for a Naked Snacks subscription you have a few options to choose from:

You can also choose from 3 different delivery options: every 2 weeks, every month, or every two months.

You then get to choose your snacks or you can let them choose for you. Here’s a look at the snacks we chose this month. We are reviewing Option #1 which includes 5 bags per box.

Temple Stay

Temple Stay is a snack inspired by the clean ingredients and balanced taste enjoyed in Korean temples. The sweetness from the dates and saltiness from the rice sticks create a harmonious taste profile. Black beans can aid in digestive health and regulation of the body’s blood sugar levels, while also helping prevent cardiovascular disease. Iron from the dates will give you a store of energy to use for your next activity, or quiet moment of calm.

First up we have Temple Stay. I’ve had this snack blend before and it just happens to be one of my favourites. I like the mixture of dates, black beans and rice sticks – rice sticks are so good! I like that it is a nice balance of salty and sweet and that it doesn’t include nuts.

Maui Pineapple Rings

Our juicy pineapple rings have us channelling white sandy beaches. In addition to awesome powers of teleportation, these tropical fruits are packed full of incredible antioxidants. Maui Pineapple Rings are a wholesome super-snack for you and the lucky people you share them with. Each delicious bite provides a healthy boost of fibre and essential nutrients. Everything you need to help keep that bod in tip-top shape!

Next up we have Maui Pineapple Rings. I was given a little tip in regards to these yummy fruit rings – dip them in melted chocolate. How good does that sound! I also think that these will make the perfect road trip snack. Easy to snack on and no need to worry about making a mess. And the best thing about these……they are 100% natural, no added sweeteners.

Weekend Crunch

If you’re looking for a tasty alternative to nutrient-free potato chips, then look no further. Weekend Crunch has been designed to give you the same crunch satisfaction, but with none of the nasties. It’s spicy and salty and so darn good! Be warned, this snack will make you thirsty. Weekend Crunch is best washed down with your favourite liquid refreshment. It’s also great to have on hand for a game-day treat.

For my third snack I went with Weekend Crunch because I love me some wasabi peas. Really, I could eat an entire bag of plain ol’ wasabi peas and not think twice about it.

Tropical Fruit Salad

You don’t have to travel to the tropics to enjoy the magic of the region. Tropical Fruit Salad has a warm cosy feel to help you unwind just the same. This nut free snack contains all the things you love about the area, conveniently packaged for your snacking pleasure. Coconut and bananas contain fatty acids to help your brain function better, and mangos are rich in fibre and antioxidant compounds. It’s like having summer in your pocket, wherever you go!

My fourth choice was this wonderful little tropical mixture. I love, love, love banana chips and I also love coconut so this was a no-brainer.

Tuscan Road Trip

Everyone loves a road trip, especially with a companion like this! This scrumptious mix was inspired by our healthy hunger for adventure. Explore new horizons with all the goodness of super-berries, mighty nuts, and delicious dark chocolate. Almonds help build and maintain strong bones, while cherries are considered a good source of dietary fibre. Lest we forget, dark chocolate is linked to 40+ health benefits. Happy travels!

My last choice was Tuscan Road Trip. I mostly picked this one for the name. The fiancé and I are going on a road trip this coming weekend so I figured it made total sense to get snack with “road trip” in the name. And…..let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good trail mix complete with dark chocolate and berries.

Naked Snacks Review June 2018 – Final Thoughts

Full disclosure – I am extremely picky and high-maintenance when it comes to my diet. Not only am I vegan, but I also try to stay away from nuts, sugar and gluten. So….I was a little worried to place my Naked Snacks order this month as I thought I might not be able to find anything. Boy was I wrong! Naked Snacks has options for everyone. You can even sort the snacks by the following:

  • Gluten Free
  • Nut Free
  • Vegan
  • Popular

Naked Snacks has got me covered!!! I honestly forgot that they have so many options. This is a subscription I want in my life indefinitely. It will save me a trip to the store, it will keep my snack bin stocked and it will keep me supplied with road trips snacks (which are a must). Is it wrong that I want to receive this box ever 2 weeks as opposed to once a month?! I think not……
